On April 11, we had three sudden and unexpected resignations from the Board. Unfortunately, this left us without a quorum to conduct official business.
We have been in touch with an attorney to investigate ways to restore the quorum and we now have a solution. Their legal opinion is that the remaining 3 directors can elect another member to restore the quorum. This seems like the best solution in order to complete the dog park project. which is getting closer to being a reality, and we will be doing that as quickly as possible.
Although this was beyond our control, we apologize for the situation. The important thing now is for all of us to present a united front to keep the reputation we have built in the last three years as a serious, committed group representing the many people and dogs who want and deserve a dog park in Bluffton.
We appreciate your support.
